    Start your Beijing tour with a refreshing morning Tai Chi lesson at the site of Temple of Heaven. Learn from a master to breathe and practice the soft movements.     Walk the world’s biggest city square – Tiananmen Square – the heart of Beijing to enter Palace Museum, previously named Forbidden City. The parent will be in awe by this grand enormous palace.     One of the best examples of classical Chinese gardens, Summer Palace is another iconic landmark of China. Its constructions combine the royal grandeur and refinement of traditional landscape art. Experience a bit of the royal life as the king and queen and princes at this beautiful garden and take a mighty dragon boat cruise to take in the stunning views.

    Ride a super fast bullet train from Beijing to Xian, through North China’s urban cities and countryside and arriving ancient China’s most prestigious capital that once saw the thriving of Silk Road.

    This morning, visit the archaeological excavated site of Terracotta Warriors and Horses, which is considered the Pyramid in China. You and your kids will witness the amazing scene of Emperor Qinshihuang’s matchless army – there are thousands of armed soldiers.

    Then learn to make a mini pottery figurine on your own at a traditional cave house. This interesting hands-on activity will keep the children focused. And you will have a particular, meaningful Chinese souvenir.

    There is a wide diversity of street foods and snacks in the Muslim Quarter that make both the kids and parents watering. At least sample the most iconic foods of Xian, like cold noodles, marinated meat in baked bun (also known as Chinese hamburger), dumpling and steamed bun.

    Spend a full day exploring Dujiangyan Panda Base as an honorary keeper. What is your job today? You need to take care of the giant pandas, make panda’s food with bamboo and carrot, feed them personally with yummy dessert, and help to tidy up their rooms. Besides, you will learn knowledge about this rare animal that has been living on Earth for 8 million years.

    During the spare time, observe the cute, clumsy pandas climbing trees, having fun on the grasslands.

    Note: The panda keeper program is available only for people aged between 12 and 65. If there are children under 12 years old in your family, we will arrange you the half-day visit of Chengdu panda base.

    Visit a local park - Chengdu People’s Park to experience for yourselves Chengdu’s leisurely lifestyle. The locals usually have a happy and comfortable morning by dancing and drinking tea. What’s more, you may see them playing mahjong and enjoying the ear cleaning service.

    Later stroll leisurely on two of Chengdu’s cultural streets – Wide and Narrow Alley, and Jinli Old Street to soak up Chengdu culture of tea, food and architecture. And visit Wenshu Monastery, one of Chengdu’s oldest temples, which was built like an elegant garden.

    Spend a morning discovering the natural beauty of Lijiang and exploring Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Your family will take cableway to the Spruce Meadow, viewing snow-capped mountain, deep valley, alpine lake and grasslands. Watch the world’s highest show – Impression Lijiang, being intrigued by beautiful Naxi ethnic music and dance.

    Thereafter, explore the ancient Naxi kingdom – Baisha Old Town, a lovely quiet place for you to experience an old way of life. For your family fun, we arrange you an embroidery class at a local institute to witness firsthand and learn this traditional handicraft of Lijiang Naxi people.

    Today drive out of downtown Lijiang to explore the lesser-known Wenhai Lake – definitely a natural paradise for family with children. It is a seasonal lake, surrounded by a vast meadow and swamp where herds of cattle, sheep, horses and even pig graze on grasses and water. You may also hear birds and insects singing.

    Visit a remote ethnic Yi Village named Xuehua (Snowflake), nestled in the mountains. Your family will be invited into a local home to enjoy a cup of tea and snacks. There’s even chance to see the shaman wizard of Yi. What a special and interesting experience!

    It is followed by a relaxing boat cruise on Lashihai Wetlands.

    This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of Lijiang Old Town (Dayan) – the biggest, best-preserved and most beautiful ancient towns in China.     Continue your family adventure in China reaching Guilin after a 1.5-hour air journey. The city is famous for the other-worldly landscape and offers various family-friendly activities.

    It is a relaxing morning – floating on the ever-changing, picturesque Li River. Your ship will pass by numerous peculiar-shaped limestone peaks, including the Nine Fresco Horses and Yellow cloth Shoal (the illustration on RMB 20 yuan note). Challenge your kids to find out these classic sites.

    After walking through the West Street to experience its laid-back and lively atmosphere, work your feet on two wheels – riding leisurely through the idyllic countryside of Yangshuo. It is an interesting and rewarding experience – seeing the rural farmlands, orchards, pristine riverside villages and even knocking at the door of a local villager’s house to discover the real countryside life in China.

    Drive to Reed Flute Cave – a cave of wonder that is home to loads of stalactite and stalactitum formations. Your children will be marveled and amused by the mighty lion, cute monkeys, waterfall pouring down, shinning crystal palace, and high-rises … – all are formed by stones naturally. Say goodbye to Guilin and fly to Shanghai, where you will see the futuristic China.

    A Shanghai tour is to broaden your children’s horizons when traveling from the past to new and even future.

    Wander through the graceful layout of Yu Garden. Established in 1559, the garden is still meticulous kept even today. You’ll witness all the classical elements of Jiangnan gardens from traditional theatrical stage, pavilions, corridors, to rockery and ponds. For the kids it is like a beautiful maze. Walk out of the garden to find a wide spectrum of local and world-popular snacks in Yuyuan Bazaar. Soak up the sounds, flavors, tastes and scents of this bazaar and the old streets.

    In the afternoon we’ll have time to visit over 50 colonial architectures on the Bund. These 19th-century European buildings are witness of the intricacies of history, as well as the astounding new start of Shanghai and China. Ascend Shanghai Tower, the 2rd highest architecture worldwide, for a thrilling experience and the amazing Shanghai Pudong skyline.
